01) Will you register my domain name?
Yes. HostMatix will register your Domain Name for you. There are no additional charges for this service for one year, as you sign-up for any of our hosting packages. However, if you would like to take care of registering the Domain Name yourself, you will have an opportunity to specify this during the sign-up process. The choice is yours.


02) What TLDs do you register as your free domain?
We only register the following TLDs free of charge with your hosting plans: (.com .net .org .info .biz .us)


03) What if I already have a domain name?
If you already have your domain registered, you need to contact your current hosting provider and ask them to change the Domain Name Servers (DNS) over to the followings in order for you to be able to use our services:

DNS1.HOSTMATIX.COM : 65.61.161.52
DNS3.HOSTMATIX.COM : 207.44.240.96

This can also get done by yourself, if you have access to the domain registrar's control panel. After the changes, allow 24-48 hours for name servers to propagate over the Internet, and by then your domain should resolve to our servers.


04) Do you host international domain names?
Yes, we welcome international domain names. We host domain names with any extension.
(.br .it .pl .ru .nu .ch .jp .ir .ae .sa .gr and etc.)



05) Will I be the owner of my domain name?
Yes, you will most definitely be the owner for your domain name. We will provide you with login info where you can change/modify the DNS records, whois info, and other domain settings.

Yes, this feature is enabled on all hosting plans. However you may want to compare the quantity of domains which are allowed to get parked on each plan. (Compare Here)



07) Will I get an e-mail address @ my domain?
Yes, you will. You will actually have an infinite amount of e-mail addresses with any account. Any word before the '@' sign of your e-mail address will be valid. You can have:
